The main scope of this position includes: 
  • Lead and support in their further development Quality and Lean team at the factory. Responsible to build knowledge of the factory co-workers to support performance and continuous improvement; 
  • Propose priorities and goals to improve quality results at the production; 
  • Secure product and quality compliance in daily operations in accordance with legal and health requirements and quality standard;
  • Lead joint management team activities to develop lean manufacturing  to optimize the use of resources;
  • Coordinate laboratory in the unit, responsible for CONNECT system (document database for chemical compliance to requirements); 
  • Responsible for the audits conducted by  (5GO/NOGO, product, packaging and chemical requirements);
  • Responsible for new products start up and their compliance to quality standards;
  • Prepare analytics and information reports;
  • Ensure all safety regulatory policies and procedures are followed by Q&L personnel at all times;
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and training for subordinate employees to achieve factory goals and prepare new leaders for further development of the factory; 
  • Represent the unit in carrying out legal actions relating to the Q&L area.
You can succeed in this position if you:
  • Higher education; wood related preferred
  • English at Upper-Intermediate level
  • 5+ years in quality management / continuous improvement experience with international exposure
  • 3+ years of supervision experience with 5+ direct reports
  • hands-on experience in continuous improvement practices, and IDMS
  • proficient PC user, preferably including ERP, presentation skills in PP
  • developed communication and leadership skills, team-player, problem solver, out-of-the-box thinking
  • experience with Talent Management systems and Succession Planning – preferable
  • readiness for business trips and intense knowledge acquisition.
